Ms M. (Marjolein) Keijzer-de Korver, LLM, studied Dutch Law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She obtained a Master’s degree in Private Law, with honours, in 1991. Marjolein went on to work as a lawyer in general commercial practice from 1991 to 1998.
Starting in 1999, she worked as a part of the legal staff at Trenité Van Doorne, Liability and Insurance section. She joined the team at Stadermann Luiten Advocaten in 2001, where she first spent many years attached to out Academic Bureau. In that role, she produced a range of publications for numerous professional journals and shaped Stadermann Luiten’s own Educational Institute.
Marjolein was sworn in as a lawyer once again on 21 March 2014. She specialises in liability and insurance law. She advises and litigates on a wide range of matters, including professional liability questions relating to assurance intermediaries (before the Financial Services Complaints Tribunal; Kifid, as well as the civil courts), coverage disputes, building damage, and more general liability issues.
Marjolein also gives internal courses at our offices at regular intervals and enjoys giving lectures elsewhere.
Marjolein is registered with the Netherlands Bar (NOvA) as specialising in the field of insurance law. According to the standards applied by the Netherlands Bar, this registration requires that she obtain ten educational points in that specific field in each calendar year.
